PTH

PTH, or parathyroid hormone, is also commonly known as parathormone. This protein is mainly secreted by the parathyroid glands. Its primary mechanism of action involves regulating calcium and phosphate levels in the body. It acts on the bones, kidneys, and intestines via the cAMP - mediated signaling pathway. Dysregulation of PTH is associated with diseases like hyperparathyroidism and hypoparathyroidism.
In terms of drug development, there are already some PTH - related analogs, such as teriparatide, which are used for treating osteoporosis. These drugs mimic the beneficial effects of PTH on bone growth, offering new treatment options for related bone diseases.

IHC image of CSB-RA005621MA1HU diluted at 1:50 and staining in paraffin-embedded human gastric cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Anti-Human lgG, Fcy Fragment Specific labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.
