STAT5A

STAT5A, a member of the STAT protein family and a transcription factor encoded by the STAT5A gene, is expressed across various cell types. Upon phosphorylation by JAK kinase in response to cytokines or growth factors, STAT5A forms dimers that translocate to the nucleus to regulate gene expression. It is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, lactation, and immune responses. STAT5A dysfunction is linked to diseases such as cancer, immunodeficiency, and developmental disorders, positioning it as a potential target for drug development and treatment.

IHC image of CSB-RA022814A694phHU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human breast cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4℃ overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
