TPX2

TPX2, also known as microtubule nucleation factor, is alternatively named DIL2, p100, HCTP4, FLS353, and HCA519. TPX2 is a microtubule-associated protein involved in the nucleation and organization of microtubules. The interaction between TPX2 and Ran-GTP, as well as its binding to Aurora A kinase, plays a crucial role in spindle assembly and formation. TPX2 is essential during the cell cycle, particularly during mitosis, where it binds to the Aurora A kinase, promoting structural changes in Aurora A and thereby affecting spindle formation.
Abnormal expression of TPX2 is associated with the development and progression of various tumors, including bladder cancer and cervical cancer. Overexpression of TPX2 in tumor cells can promote malignant proliferation and metastasis.

IHC image of CSB-PA892151LA01HU diluted at 1:200 and staining in paraffin-embedded human testis tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
