TTBK2

TTBK2, also known as Tau Tubulin Kinase 2, is a protein-coding gene. It has no widely known common aliases. This protein is involved in the phosphorylation of tau and tubulin, playing a crucial role in microtubule assembly and stability. It participates in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is important for cell fate determination and tissue development.
Mutations in TTBK2 have been associated with spinocerebellar ataxia type 11 (SCA11).
