CD34

CD34, also known as CD34 antigen or PECAM-1, is a transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and endothelial cells. Its primary function is to mediate cell adhesion and migration, playing a crucial role in hematopoiesis and angiogenesis. CD34 interacts with various ligands, including L-selectin and integrins, to regulate cell movement. It is involved in several signaling pathways, including the PI3K/Akt and JAK/STAT pathways. CD34 expression is associated with various diseases, including leukemia, lymphoma, and cardiovascular disorders. In drug development, CD34 is a potential target for therapies aimed at modulating hematopoiesis and angiogenesis. Research is ongoing to explore the therapeutic potential of CD34-targeted agents in cancer and other diseases.

Validated Data

IHC image of CSB-RA004926A0HU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4℃ overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
