IL5RA

IL5RA, interleukin 5 receptor subunit α, is a cytokine receptor mainly expressed on the surface of immune cells such as monocytes, T cells and B cells.The mechanism of action of IL5RA is to bind to IL-5 ligand and form a heterodimeric receptor complex with α and β chains, which then activates the downstream signalling pathways such as JAK/STAT, MAPK, PI3K and NF-κB, etc. IL5RA is essential for the regulation of physiological processes such as immune response, cell differentiation and inflammatory response, and its abnormal expression or dysfunction is closely related to the development of a variety of diseases, including tumours, inflammation and autoimmune diseases.
