QPCT

QPCT, full name glutaminyl-peptide cyclotransferase, also known as peptidyl cyclase T. It is a protein-modifying enzyme regulating protein structure and function via glutaminyl cyclization, participating in signal transduction and tumor progression. Abnormal QPCT overexpression promotes tumor proliferation, metastasis and immune escape in multiple cancers. QPCT inhibitors are under preclinical research for anti-tumor therapy.
