The gene RORC encodes the Retinoic acid-related orphan receptor gamma protein. It is also commonly known as RORγ. RORC plays a crucial role in the development and function of immune cells. It regulates the differentiation of Th17 cells by binding to specific DNA sequences and modulating gene expression. This process is involved in the JAK - STAT signaling pathway.
Dysregulation of RORC is associated with autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis and psoriasis. In drug development, RORC inhibitors are being investigated as potential therapies to target the over - active immune responses mediated by RORC, aiming to provide new treatment options for these autoimmune disorders.
Recombinant Human Nuclear receptor ROR-gamma (RORC) (CSB-EP020071HU)
Validated Data
(Tris-Glycine gel) Discontinuous SDS-PAGE (reduced) with 5% enrichment gel and 15% separation gel.
Based on the SEQUEST from database of E.coli host and target protein, the LC-MS/MS Analysis result of CSB-EP020071HU could indicate that this peptide derived from E.coli-expressed Homo sapiens (Human) RORC.

IHC image of CSB-PA020071LA01HU diluted at 1:1000 and staining in paraffin-embedded human testis tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB. Secondary antibody only control: uses 1% BSA instead of primary antibody
