TNFRSF1A

TNFRSF1A, tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 1A, alias TNF-R, TNFAR, TNFR60, CD120a, and TNF-R55. It is a transmembrane protein expressed in human cells and belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily.
The mechanism of action of TNFRSF1A involves binding to its ligand, tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), and this binding induces receptor trimerization and activation, which in turn activates the transcription factor NF-κB, which mediates apoptosis and modulates the inflammatory response.
