TRBC2

The gene TRBC2 encodes the protein T cell receptor beta constant 2, also known as TCRBC2. This protein is a part of the alpha-beta T cell receptor complex and is involved in T cell receptor signaling pathway, adaptive immune response, and alpha-beta T cell activation. TRBC2 functions as a constant domain in the TCR beta chain, which is crucial for the recognition of antigenic peptides. It is also associated with various diseases, including T cell lymphomas, where it serves as a target for immunotherapies.
