IL7R

IL7R, also known as CD127, is a type I cytokine receptor encoded by the IL7R gene and expressed on immune cells, including T cells, B cells, and NK cells. It binds to IL-7, activating the JAK/STAT pathway and promoting immune cell proliferation, survival, and differentiation. IL7R plays a critical role in immune system development and T cell subset regulation. Its altered expression in diseases such as immunodeficiency, cancer, and chronic infections makes it a potential target for immunological research and treatment.
