TIPARP, Protein mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase TIPARP, alias PARP7, ARTD14, pART14. TIPARP is encoded by the human TIPARP gene, which is located on chromosome 3 in the q25.31 region.
TIPARP is a member of the poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase superfamily, which uses NAD+ as a substrate to transfers ADP-ribose to glutamate residues of protein receptors; repeated ADP-ribosylation results in the formation of poly chains on proteins that alter the function of target proteins.
TIPARP plays a role in a variety of physiological processes including gene regulation, viral response, and cytoskeletal regulation. Aberrant regulation of TIPARP may cause neurodevelopmental disorders, aberrant antiviral responses, certain types of cancer, and dioxin-induced hepatic steatosis.

IHC image of CSB-PA801800LA01HU diluted at 1:300 and staining in paraffin-embedded human brain tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
