TSPAN7

TSPAN7, full name tetraspanin 7. It is a member of the tetraspanin family, regulating cell adhesion, signaling, proliferation and immunity in nervous system, immune cells and tumor tissues. Dysregulated TSPAN7 correlates with neurological diseases like autism and multiple cancers, promoting tumor proliferation and drug resistance. TSPAN7-targeted inhibitors are under preclinical research for neurological and anti-tumor therapy.
