TNFSF18

TNFSF18, also known as tumor necrosis factor superfamily member 18, is a cytokine that belongs to the TNF ligand family. It acts as a ligand for receptors TNFRSF18/AITR/GITR, modulating T lymphocyte survival in peripheral tissues. TNFSF18 is involved in various signaling pathways, including those related to immune response and inflammation. Diseases associated with TNFSF18 include immune deficiencies and hematologic cancers. In drug development, TNFSF18 has been targeted for inhibitors and modulators, aiming to regulate immune responses and treat related diseases.
