Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. |
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse IL-6 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Interleukin-6 is a multifunctional cytokine that plays important roles in immune responses, inflammation, and hematopoiesis. Originally identified as a B-cell hybridoma growth factor, IL-6 is produced by various cell types including T cells, B cells, macrophages, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells. This cytokine regulates acute-phase responses, promotes B-cell differentiation into antibody-producing plasma cells, and influences T-cell activation and proliferation. IL-6 also functions in neuronal development and bone metabolism. It serves as a key mediator in both physiological and pathological processes including autoimmune diseases, cancer, and metabolic disorders.
The Mouse Interleukin 6,IL-6 ELISA Kit (CSB-E04639m-IS) is a quantitative sandwich immunoassay designed for measuring IL-6 levels in mouse samples. This kit works with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell culture supernates. The detection range spans 3.9 pg/ml to 250 pg/ml with sensitivity of 0.975 pg/ml. The assay requires 50-100 μl sample volume and can be completed within 1-5 hours, with detection performed at 450 nm wavelength.
