Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of bovine Hpt in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Researchers can quantify bovine haptoglobin (Hpt/HP) in serum and plasma with the bovine haptoglobin ELISA Kit. This kit offers a detection range of 7.81 ng/mL-2000 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 7.81 ng/mL. It uses a competitive detection mechanism, wherein the haptoglobin in the sample competes with a labeled haptoglobin for binding to a limited number of antibody sites. This competitive binding results in an inverse correlation between the concentration of haptoglobin in the sample and the assay signal, enabling precise quantification. The kit requires 50-100 μL of sample, with an assay time of 1-5 hours, and detection is performed at a wavelength of 450 nm. This kit has been referenced in upwards of three journal articles.
