Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of rat AGEs in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

The recovery of rat AGEs spiked to levels throughout the range of the assay in various matrices was evaluated. Samples were diluted prior to assay as directed in the Sample Preparation section.

I'd like to order the "rat advanced glycation end products (AGEs) ELISA Kit (#CSB-E09413r)" from your company, but I want to know additional information:
Q1. Is there any reason (or evidence) why we select the AGEs Elisa Kit depending on the host species?
- Since AGEs do not have specific epitopes, I think that host species are not the critical factor to determine the antibody specificity of AGEs.
Q2. If I used the rat AGEs ELISA kit to analyze the mice tissue sample, is it hard to assure the specificity of this kit? (or data quality)
A1: AGEs is a general name for a series of substances, instead of a single one. They have the same antigenic determinant. The reason why developed ELISA kits of different species is that the characteristics, anti-matrix-interference, and applicability of raw materials applied for different kits are different.
This kit CSB-E09413r (Rat advanced glycation end products, AGEs ELISA Kit) applies mouse monoclonal antibody and goat polyclonal antibody.
While this kit CSB-E09414m (Mouse advanced glycation end products, AGEs ELISA Kit) applies rat monoclonal antibody and goat polyclonal antibody.
Thus we suggest the user use the ELISA kit of the corresponding species to do the detection.
