Description

This pig arachidonic acid (AA) ELISA Kit is suitable for qualitatively determining pigarachidonic acid concentrations in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, or tissue homogenates in vitro. IgG is the major class of immunoglobulins found in blood and extracellular fluid, allowing itself to control infection of body tissues. It is the exclusive isotype that is transferred across the placenta. In the process of protecting the body against virus invasion, IgG mainly exerts its functions through several mechanisms: directly binding to and neutralizing the virus, preventing it from invading cells; IgG binds to the surface antigen of the infected cell and labeled it, and then recruit phagocytes to clear the virus; IgG triggers an immune response by activating complement and binding immune cells; IgG can also pass through the placental barrier and be passively transmitted from the mother to the fetus, achieving natural passiveness.

This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique and enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction. The color develops oppositely to the amount of pig IgG in samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. This kit displays many advantages, including sensitivity, specificity, precision, linearity, and recovery.

Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<15%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<15%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.

Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of pig IgG in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.
