This Fish INS ELISA Kit was designed for the quantitative measurement of Fish INS protein in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. It is a Competitive ELISA kit, its detection range is 100 pg/mL-1600 pg/mL and the sensitivity is 100 pg/mL.

Please provide some more information about the following.
a. capture antibody or capture antigen
b. Detection antibody (if applicable)
c. standard – if recombinant protein please specify sequence (including species source and accession no. if available) and expression host.
The customer would like to use this assay to test islet cell samples in zebrafish. Have you tested tissue homogenate samples wit this assay, if yes please provide the reference data. Can you recommend a dilution for the customer’s samples.
I would like to look for ELISA kits for insulin levels in zebrafish. What would you recommend?
We have the following fish kit available: #CSB-E12123Fh, Fish Insulin, INS ELISA Kit
Generally, the protein difference is not large among the same species. That is to say, the amino acid sequence of different types of fish is relatively conservative.
This item #CSB-E12123Fh is specific to salmon. We did not ever test zebrafish. But there should be no big problems. If you would like to test zebrafish, you could try to do the pre-experiment first and see.
